Rachael & Mat’s Autumn Wedding
Featured In This Article:
Rachael and Mat’s St. Louis wedding was a masterclass in balancing a classic, Bridgerton-inspired aesthetic with deeply personal, intentional details. Coordinated by Hawthorne Creative Co., the day moved from a vibrant ceremony at the Jewel Box to a high-energy reception at Wild Carrot, featuring a large-scale blue-and-white toile seating chart anchored by lush autumnal florals. Guests’ tables were adorned with cornflower blue taper candles, gold-rimmed chargers, and ornate vases filled with peach and apricot roses. Every setting was personalized with a custom “R&M” monogrammed sugar cookie, echoing the day’s blend of classic elegance and thoughtful touches.
The couple’s intentionality was most evident in their unique gift exchange, which leaned into their specific passions and the groom’s career in Missouri agriculture. Rachael surprised Mat with a custom ski and a specialized corn cake, while Mat gifted her an engraved bottle of perfume to mark the occasion. Between portraits in front of the Art Museum and the high-energy reception, the atmosphere remained both sophisticated and playful. Blue Willow Photo & Video captured the sharp details of the day, including the couple’s customized temporary tattoos, which served as a hit party favor. From the heartfelt tributes to the final sparkler exit, it was a quintessential St. Louis celebration for the new Mr. and Mrs. Yuede.
