I’m LaRonn Simmons—better known as DJ Tycoon—and I’m all about creating wedding celebrations that feel just as good as they look.
Since stepping behind the decks in 2020, I’ve built my style around one simple idea: your wedding shouldn’t sound like anyone else’s. Every couple has their own story, their own people, their own culture, and their own definition of a great party—and I bring all of that together to create an experience that feels unmistakably you.
For me, DJing is about so much more than building a playlist. I mix music live, blending genres, eras, cultures, and unexpected favorites together to create a dance floor that keeps moving and a musical journey that feels natural from one moment to the next.
From the emotional moments that give you chills to the songs that have your entire dance floor screaming every word, I love creating celebrations with big energy, intentional music, and unforgettable moments from beginning to end.
Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to work with incredible names including Four Seasons, Nike, Ramsay’s Kitchen, 21c Museum Hotel, Angad Arts Hotel, and St. Louis CITY SC. I’m also proud to serve as Treasurer of the Wedding Industry Professionals Association (WIPA) St. Louis Chapter, helping support and connect some of the incredible professionals who make this wedding community special.
