HOW THE COUPLE MET
True love has a funny way of showing up right where you spend most of your time. For Madeline and Shane, that place was the office. What started as a professional collaboration quickly blossomed into a profound connection, proving that the best partnerships are the ones built from the ground up. On August 2, 2025, their beautiful journey came full circle as they said “I do” in an elegant, joy-filled celebration that perfectly blended classic romance with chic, personal details.
THE WEDDING DAY
The couple invited their loved ones to celebrate their new beginning at Silver Oaks Chateau, a stunning venue that offered the perfect backdrop of countryside refinement and European charm. Under a bright summer sky, the venue’s timeless stone architecture matched the grandeur of the day. Madeline was an absolute vision in a striking strapless gown featuring a modern, structured corset bodice and a dramatic high slit. To honor the tradition of “something blue”, with a highly fashionable twist, she paired her gown with pointed-toe heels adorned with intricate blue floral embroidery and delicate beadwork. Shane looked equally dapper, complementing his bride perfectly in a rich royal blue suit, accessorized with a crisp baby-blue bow tie and a matching pocket square.
The color story of the day was a masterful exploration of blue, starting right from the morning preparations. Madeline’s bridal party kicked off the festivities in coordinating dusty blue ruffled pajamas before transitioning into mismatched bridesmaids’ dresses. Each bridesmaid wore a unique silhouette, with some donning solid pastel blue gowns and others wearing vibrant blue-and-white floral patterns. Holding delicate white parasols to shield themselves from the summer sun, the bridal party brought an airy, sophisticated energy to the chateau’s lush green grounds.
THE DETAILS
After a heartfelt ceremony, the celebration transitioned to a vibrant cocktail hour on the sun-kissed patio. Inside the chateau, the reception hall was transformed into a breathtaking, light-filled sanctuary. The decor, expertly curated, featured round tables draped in striking blue-and-white toile floral table linens provided by Zhuzh Rentals. Each table setting was grounded by elegant gold chargers, light blue napkins, and lush, cloud-like centerpieces of white roses and baby’s breath illuminated by romantic pillar candles. Overhead, massive wrought-iron ring chandeliers adorned with delicate white wisteria blooms and glowing candles cast a warm glow over the entire room.
When it came to keeping the energy alive and the details flawless, Madeline credits their photographer, Emily Blackford, as the absolute standout vendor of the day. Emily did far more than just capture the timeless, candid moments of laughter and tears; she acted as the steady anchor for the entire celebration, ensuring the timeline flowed effortlessly so the newlyweds could simply focus on soaking in every single second.
The culinary details of the evening were just as thoughtful. Guests were treated to an incredible feast courtesy of Sugarfire Events, which brought a delicious and comforting catering experience to the sophisticated setting. On the main stage, massive illuminated marquee letters from Alpha-Lit STL proudly spelled out “THE WYATTS,” creating a spectacular, glowing focal point. For dessert, a beautiful heart-shaped cake from 3:14 Cakes stole the show. Adorned with vintage piping and dainty baby blue ribbons, the cake bore the sweet message “Just Married” piped elegantly across the top.
FAVORITE MOMENT
“Our favorite memory was sitting at our wedding party table and seeing all of our favorite people there to celebrate us!” she shared. Surrounded by love, laughter, and a stunning sea of blue, Madeline and Shane’s wedding was a beautiful testament to a partnership that began at work and evolved into a lifetime of shared dreams.
