Alex and Cole: From Heirloom Details to Neon Lights
Alex and Cole’s St. Louis wedding was a masterclass in “STL magic,” bringing their story full circle by hosting their reception at the City Museum, the exact spot where they met on Halloween in 2021. The ceremony was a beautiful display of “invisible strings,” featuring an officiant who knew both the bride and groom separately and “flower grandmas” who added a layer of deep generational meaning.
Every moment was steeped in meaning, from the stunning heirloom bridal pieces from Still Her Dress, including an intricate veil, bridal robe and bouquet sleeve that connected the past to the present, to the first dance choreographed by First Dance STL. Alex was a vision of elegance, transitioning from a perfectly tailored gown by Alterations by Debbie for portraits at the Gateway Arch to a chic, floral mini-dress for the reception. The morning prep was just as stylish, with the bridal party toast in coordinated silks before the day moved into high gear. Once Spin Society DJs took the booth, the atmosphere shifted into an unforgettable club-inspired party that kept the dance floor packed all night. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. on a day that truly owned the city!
